Hearthside is available all year round for stays of 3 - 7 nights or more and short breaks.  Our preferred change over days are Fridays or Mondays. But we can be flexible. The price is based on a maximum of 10 guests, with up to four cars and two dogs. 

Included within the rate are towels, bed linen and kitchen essentials (tea towels, cloths, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc), and we provide a small 'welcome pack' of freshly baked bread and homemade preserves. Firewood and kindling for the first night’s stay. £8.00 for each extra basket of seasoned hardwood.

Use of Weber charcoal BBQ with sufficient charcoal briquettes for first use.

An additional travel cot is also available.

We live next door in 'Lighthouse' so if you have any queries during your stay please just ask!

Terms

Our preferred changeover days are Friday or Monday, but we can be flexible. Please let us know if you have a different choice of arrival/departure day.

Arrival is from 4pm and departure by 10am. Please let us know if you expect to arrive late.

To confirm a booking a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required with the refundable balance due 6 weeks before arrival. If you book with less than 6 weeks before your stay, the full amount must be paid. 

Although not compulsory we recommend you take out your own travel insurance.

'Hearthside' is a non-smoking property.

The owners, Libby and Donald Macgregor live just next door in 'Lighthouse' so are on hand for any queries during your stay.

Rate Guide - 2025

Price per week:

£1300 Low season January to end of March

£1700 per week High Season April to early September 

Short breaks of 3 or 4 night minimum stay from £800 - £1000 depending on the time of year/season

Minimum stay 7 nights preferred  during High season.
